Experience

Adam Peden is a commercial and supply chain leader who’s spent his career working across logistics, technology, and enterprise services in New Zealand and Australia. He’s known for bringing a practical, outcomes-focused lens to connecting commercial strategy with real operational delivery.
At Argon & Co, Adam leads the logistics service line and commercial strategy in New Zealand and works alongside executive teams on supply chain transformation, growth, and network optimisation. A big part of his focus is helping organisations turn their supply chain into a genuine competitive advantage—not just a cost centre.
Before consulting, Adam held senior roles with CEVA Logistics, Ingram Micro and Brightpoint, leading large-scale logistics and services businesses with full P&L responsibility. His experience covers everything from enterprise partnerships and go-to-market strategy through to building and running end-to-end supply chain solutions across retail, technology, and telecommunications sectors.

Experience

Jordan McFall is CGO and Co-owner of Automate-X, a company specialising in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
Jordan began his career engineering baggage-handling and parcel-sortation systems before moving into a key role driving the growth of Automate-X’s intralogistics offering. He has played a central role in developing and delivering automation solutions across the supply chain, from early-stage design through to client engagement and commercial execution.
With experience spanning automation, system implementation, and logistics environments, Jordan has contributed to projects across ANZ and international markets. He brings a practical, hands-on approach to solving supply chain challenges, helping businesses adopt automation technologies that improve performance, scalability, and operational resilience.

WHY JOIN A COMMITTEE?

When you are a financial member of the association, you can apply to become a committee member and support the growth and development of the profession and Association. Every committee has a chairperson, secretary, treasurer, and head of different purpose driven chapters including; membership, education, national awards, social events, regional development, TDL round table and marketing. There are also sub-committees working on projects such as Women in Logistics, Mentoring programs, Career development and practical industry training programmes.

Joining a Committee can lead to progression to President role-managing the division Committee and providing valuable insight from members to the ASCLA Board and ASCLA's long term strategy.

Events Co-ordination & ManagementEvent coordinators, also known as event specialists or event planners, are responsible for every aspect of event planning. Their main duties include selecting venues, determining the cost, arranging event services, and monitoring client approval.
Memberships & Partnerships LiaisonThe Partnership and Membership Director will lead a new business unit to cultivate and foster strategic relationships and partnerships.
Finance/TreasurerThe Treasurer has a watchdog role over all aspects of financial management, working closely with other members of the Management Committee to safeguard the organisation's finances.
