Last Mile Leaders – Eye on the Last Mile 6.0 – APAC Report
Last Mile Convergence: What APAC Last Mile Leaders Must Do Next
APAC is not one Last Mile it is many, twenty-four economies, island networks, vast and sparse distances, and carrier ecosystems that fragment country by country. The last mile in our part of the world does not behave like the last mile anywhere else, most of the global playbooks were not written for this. APAC breaks their assumptions.
That is precisely why ASCLA was glad to support this year’s Eye on the Last Mile in partnership with FarEye — our region deserves research built from real operator data, not borrowed conclusions. What that data confirms is something our members have been feeling for a while. The old trade-off between cost, speed and customer experience has quietly disappeared. You no longer get to pick one. Customers expect all three at once, and the operators who are pulling ahead have stopped treating them as separate problems to solve. These used to be a choice; in 2026 they are
one concurrent expectation.
Over 500 Last Mile Leaders and operators from enterprises across the region were surveyed for this report. Cost, speed, and customer experience used to be a choice, in 2026 these are one concurrent expectation.
