WEBINAR

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT
THE OTHER HALF OF SAFETY

Mental Health in Supply Chain & Logistics

Join the Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association (ASCLA) CEO, Steven Ballerini, and Healthy Heads Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) CEO, Naomi Frauenfelder, for an unhurried, one-on-one conversation about the mental health of the people who keep our supply chains moving.

Free webinar ahead of R U OK? Day.

For decades, workplace safety in transport and logistics has focused on protecting people from physical harm. Today, we know that protecting mental health is just as important. Psychological injury, distress, burnout, and isolation are workplace safety issues too.

Date:  Tuesday, 8 September 2026
Time:  10.30am to 11.30am (AEST)
Venue:  Online
Cost:  No charge

Registrations close at Noon on Monday, 7 September 2026

ABOUT THIS EVENT

You’ll hear what the data tells us about mental health across road transport, warehousing and logistics; why the nature of our work can take such a toll on people; and the practical actions leaders can take, the common pitfalls to avoid, and how to know whether they’re making a difference.

This session covers mental health and wellbeing in the industry, and some of the themes may be distressing to some. If anything raises concerns for you, support is available — Lifeline on 13 11 14 or lifeline.org.au, and Healthy Heads offers free resources and a wellbeing app at healthyheads.org.au.

Held in the same week as R U OK? Day, this is a session for anyone whose decisions shape the conditions others work in.

Live, with moderated Q&A. Free to attend, and recorded for all who register.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This webinar is for anyone whose decisions shape the conditions others work in across road transport, warehousing and logistics — because so much of what affects people on the road and on the floor is created upstream, in an office.

That includes operations and transport managers, warehouse and depot leaders, HSE and WHS professionals, HR and people-and-culture teams, business owners and executives, and anyone responsible for rosters, workloads, contracts or the day-to-day culture of a team. It’s equally relevant to drivers, supervisors and frontline staff who want to understand what good support looks like and what they can reasonably ask for.

No prior knowledge of psychosocial safety is needed. If you influence how people in this industry work — directly or from a distance — this session is for you.
