DMS Webinar Series – Part 1

From Disjointed Decision Ecosystem to Decision Flow: How AI Can Simplify Supply Chain Planning

Why We Have 100 Systems and Still Cannot Decide: Diagnosing Planning Friction

Most organisations have invested heavily in enterprise software, yet planning teams still rely on spreadsheets, email and manual workarounds to make critical decisions. In this ASCLA webinar, delivered by DMS, we cut through the usual technology narrative and focus on what is really creating drag in Demand, Supply, Inventory and S&OP.

Date:  Wednesday, 1 April 2026
Time:  12.00noon – 1.00pm (ADST)
Cost:  No Charge

Registrations close at COB on Tuesday, 31 March 2026

ABOUT THIS EVENT

This session is about diagnosis before disruption. Rather than jumping straight to AI or new tools, we look at where decisions actually slow down, break down, or get repeated, and why.

You will learn how to identify the most common sources of value leakage, including duplicated decision-making, fragmented ownership, poor handovers, and data context trapped in people rather than embedded in the process. The session includes a short self-assessment and live polling so attendees can benchmark where friction is occurring and which decisions are most impacted.

PRESENTERS

Elton Brown – Senior Consultant, DMS (Demand Management Systems) and Adjunct Lecturer, University of Sydney
Elton is a passionate advocate for smarter, technology-driven supply chains. He’s recognised for cutting through the hype to show businesses exactly how AI can transform planning, design and optimisation to drive sustainable and resilient supply chains. With 29 years of experience across 3 continents, Elton’s mission is clear: to help organisations separate fact from fiction, out-compete and zero in on what genuinely delivers value.

Alice Brimicombe – Business Development Director, DMS
Alice Brimicombe, CPA, is the Business Development Director at DMS, bringing 25 years of expertise in finance, accounting, and supply chain. With over a decade dedicated to supply chain transformation, she partners with clients across the Asia Pacific to drive excellence through Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Planning, and Advanced Analytics. Passionate about best practices and operational efficiency, Alice is always open to discussions on supply chain innovation and process optimisation.
