This International Women’s Day, we invite you to come together for a breakfast to honour the remarkable contributions of women in the Supply Chain industry.  This is more than just a celebration – it’s a premier opportunity to expand your network, share insights, and engage with the themes of “Give to Gain” and “Balance the Scales”

We encourage individuals of all genders to attend and show their support for a more inclusive and equitable industry.

SPEAKERS

Paula Rojas – Director of Pacific Planning & Services Supply Chain, Schneider Electric

Paula leads strategies to optimize inventory and increase productivity while improving service and reliability. Originally from Colombia, where Paula obtained her degree in Industrial Engineering, she then moved to Australia 16 years ago to complete her Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. With over 10 years of experience in planning, she is passionate about sustainability, continuous improvement, and empowering others. Outside of work, Paula enjoys challenging her body and mind through exercise and follows a plant-based lifestyle to reduce her environmental footprint.

Lauren Smedley – Director, Bronte Co

Lauren is a mum of two energetic boys who keep her busy on the sidelines of multiple sports. She is also a passionate advocate for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, inspired by her youngest son, who was born deaf and is now thriving with bilateral cochlear implants.
Lauren founded Bronte Co in 2018 after identifying a gap in the market for affordable, high-quality swimwear for boys. The brand experienced rapid growth in 2019 & 2020 with the rise of family “twinning,” expanding to include matching men’s board shorts. Since then, Bronte Co has continued to evolve, now offering swimwear for men, women, and children, alongside complementary lifestyle products such as neoprene bags, fishing shirts, goggles, and accessories.
While Bronte Co’s core market is Australia and New Zealand, the brand has developed a strong international customer base, with orders spanning the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Kristin Mumme – Head of Operations, RM Williams
As Head of Operations, Kristin Mumme is inspired by people, the teams she supports and the partners she serves, and thrives on collaborative problem-solving, turning shared ideas into practical improvements that make work smoother and deliver results everyone can be proud of. People-first and process-driven, she translates strategy into simple, repeatable ways of working, removes friction for teams, and leverages data to improve quality, speed, and cost efficiency. Motivated by the impact created together, Kristen focuses on continuous improvement to ensure the organisation can scale reliably while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
