Kari Banick – Chief Operating Officer, Blackwoods (a Wesfarmers Company) Kari Banick is the COO at Blackwoods within Wesfarmers Industrial Safety overseeing operations and supply chain, own brand global sourcing, ESG, Data Quality Governance, ePMO and Indigenous Affairs. She emigrated from the US to Australia over thirteen years ago, bringing over 30 years of experience across multiple industries including Retail, Wholesale, Airline, FMCG, 3PL, and Transport. Previously, she spent 22 years at Supervalu in the US, where she led the first automated site in Minneapolis and has held senior roles in distribution, finance and retail operations. Kari is recognized as a global expert in supply chain operations, technology, and automation, having delivered pioneering automated wholesale grocery operations in Australia and multiple automated sites for Linfox customers.
