About Mobiledock
Mobiledock: Enabling Seamless, Data-Driven Dock Scheduling for Logistics Networks of the Future
Mobiledock is an Australian SaaS start-up focused on transforming one of supply chain’s most overlooked challenges — the loading dock. Despite wider supply chain digitisation, docks are still commonly managed with phone calls, emails, and spreadsheets. This gap in visibility and control leads to congestion, delays, demurrage charges, additional labour, and lost value. Mobiledock was established with a straightforward purpose: to give every participant in the logistics chain visibility, certainty, and control over dock operations — providing “air traffic control for the ground.” “Mobiledock has grown through deep collaboration with customer, co-designing, testing, and refining features directly with industry users. Today, Mobiledock is widely adopted across Australia and New Zealand and has expanded into markets such as the USA, UK and Colombia.
What differentiates Mobiledock is its focus on the dock as a coordination point and value driver. Its network-based design allows shippers, carriers, suppliers, and receivers to manage operations from their own perspective, while integrating seamlessly with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems. The platform validates purchase orders, captures pallet and proof-of-delivery data, and evolves through six major feature releases each year.
Recent innovations include:
- QR-Code Driver Check-Ins — faster, contactless arrivals that ease congestion and streamline gatehouse operations.
- Live Proof-of-Delivery (POD) — real-time capture of delivery confirmation, enhancing accuracy and customer confidence.
- Pallet Asset Management — tighter control of pallet movements to prevent losses, eliminate incorrect hire charges, and simplify reconciliation.
- Yard Management — live visibility of loads, containers, and trailers, with automated carrier alerts and multi-day scheduling to improve flow and reduce detention costs.
Customers such as JB Hi-Fi, EBOS Group, Linfox, and Snack Brands report measurable gains in throughput, compliance, labour efficiency, administration, and sustainability through reduced idling and paper use. Beyond traditional supply chains, Mobiledock is also reshaping access at city towers (e.g. Barangaroo), entertainment venues (The Star in Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast), and healthcare facilities (New Footscray Hospital). By solving a long-standing inefficiency, Mobiledock has built a ground-up platform now trusted by hundreds of supply chains across ANZ and expanding globally.
